What does a free look actually mean?
We come out, walk the house, and tell you if it’s a weekend caulk job or a real repair. No charge for that. If you hire us, you get a written scope before we start.
Can I just text photos?

What about the July flood damage?
That’s a lot of the work right now — washouts at the footing, flooded basements, banks that let go. Storm-active jobs jump the line.
Do you help with insurance claims?
Yes — we document. Photos, measurements, a written repair scope, and we’ll meet the adjuster. We are not a public adjuster and we don’t file the claim or guarantee what a policy pays. You file it. We make the damage obvious.
Will insurance pay for foundation repair?
Depends on the policy and the cause. Sudden storm damage is a different conversation than a crack that’s been walking for ten years. Flood water from a creek is often a flood policy, not homeowners. We’ll tell you what we’re seeing. Your carrier decides what they cover.
Should I wait for the adjuster before you start?
Don’t wait to photograph it, and don’t wait to shore a wall that’s moving. Emergency work to stop further damage is usually allowed. Full repair often waits on the claim. We’ll tell you what to do now vs. what to hold.
Will the town inspect the work?
When a permit is required, we pull it and meet the inspector. Built to pass — not to hide.

Yes. A lot of Ulster County houses sit on fieldstone, brick, and lime mortar. We rebuild, point, and shore them — not vinyl-patch them. If the house is historic, we treat it like it.
